Baptism

RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a communal process of spiritual and educational formation for adults who seek to become full members of the Roman Catholic Church through a conversion of mind and heart. For information on RCIA at New Roads, please email us.
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available at St. Luke’s Church every Saturday at 3:00-3:30 p.m. in the Eucharistic Chapel. Individual appointments may be made by request. This sacrament is also celebrated in a communal setting during the Advent and Lenten seasons.
Confirmation
Confirmation celebrates full initiation into our church community. Currently confirmation preparation is open to everyone in grades 9 and above. Registration generally opens in the spring and workshops begin in the fall. For more information, click here.
Marriage
The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated either in the context of a Wedding Mass or Liturgy of the Word ceremony. Engaged parishioners should inquire about planning their marriage by contacting the office at least one year in advance of their intended date.
Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is celebrated communally on occasion and is available individually by contacting the office. Anyone who is anticipating hospitalization, is seriously ill, or is advanced in age may request this sacrament.
