Stewardship Sunday 2023
On Stewardship Sunday (November 19, 2023), we celebrated what God is doing in and through our church (view the stories in the video below!) and invited everyone to make a financial commitment to our church for the year to come. This November a letter was sent to all registered families as well as a Stewardship Commitment Card, which can be completed online using the button below.

New Roads Giving Principles
Giving is a key way we grow in faith and grow as disciples, or followers of Jesus. We give to our place of worship as an act of worship. At New Roads, we think about giving using these 4 principles:
- PLAN: Disciples give to God intentionally. The best way to make a plan for giving is to give automatically by giving online.
- PRIORITY: Jesus taught us to make giving our top priority when it comes to money, as an act of gratitude to God--aligning our hearts with the truth that all we have is a gift from God.
- PERCENTAGE: Scripture talks about the "tithe" or giving 10% back to God. Simply pick any percentage and start from there. We give a percentage because Jesus taught that we should give from our substance and not just from our surplus.
- PROGRESS: We want to be progressing in the amount we are giving as an act of trust--each year trusting God more and more with the gifts he has given us.
