Tiny Disciples (ages 2-5)
Tiny Disciples is following the below safety procedures related to COVID-19:
  • Upon entering and exiting the room, each child should either wash their hands (with parent's help in the bathroom next door) or use hand sanitizer at the check-in desk.
  • At the check-in desk, parents will sign in their child and leave their email address which we will use to contact your family if we become aware of a positive case of COVID-19 in our Tiny Disciples community.
  • All people ages 2 and above are required to wear masks while indoors, including at Tiny Disciples. Please have your child wear a well-fitting and comfortable mask. We have extra masks available if necessary.
  • We will observe social distancing of at least 3 feet between children while seated for the worship portion of Tiny Disciples.
  • We will complete extra cleaning after each gathering.
  • We are creating procedures to ensure all adults interacting with children are vaccinated.
  • Windows will be open for the entirety of the Tiny Disciples program to increase air flow in the space.

Kids' Church (grades K-5)
When you arrive at New Roads for Mass, a parent will be asked to fill out a contact sheet which also lists the following safety procedures:
  • Upon entering and exiting the room, kids will receive hand sanitizer to clean their hands.
  • All children and adults will remain wearing their masks (unless the adult is speaking to the large group on stage from a safe distance - like you witness during the Mass).
  • Children will be spread out utilizing all of our available spacing for each activity (social distancing of at least 3 feet).
  • We will complete extra cleaning after each gathering.
  • If we become aware of a positive case of COVID-19 and people were exposed during our gathering, we will use your email to contact your family to allow contact tracing while protecting everyone’s privacy.
  • We are creating procedures to ensure all adults interacting with children are vaccinated.

If you or your child feel sick, have recently had a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you or your child have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, please join us online instead. If you or your child test positive for COVID-19 after being present at a New Roads kids program, please contact Sarah Joyce, Children's Ministry Coordinator. Please contact Sarah with any questions or concerns about these safety procedures.
