Tiny Disciples (ages 2-5)
Tiny Disciples is following the below safety procedures related to COVID-19:
Kids' Church (grades K-5)
When you arrive at New Roads for Mass, a parent will be asked to fill out a contact sheet which also lists the following safety procedures:
If you or your child feel sick, have recently had a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you or your child have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, please join us online instead. If you or your child test positive for COVID-19 after being present at a New Roads kids program, please contact Sarah Joyce, Children's Ministry Coordinator. Please contact Sarah with any questions or concerns about these safety procedures.
Tiny Disciples is following the below safety procedures related to COVID-19:
- Upon entering and exiting the room, each child should either wash their hands (with parent's help in the bathroom next door) or use hand sanitizer at the check-in desk.
- At the check-in desk, parents will sign in their child and leave their email address which we will use to contact your family if we become aware of a positive case of COVID-19 in our Tiny Disciples community.
- All people ages 2 and above are required to wear masks while indoors, including at Tiny Disciples. Please have your child wear a well-fitting and comfortable mask. We have extra masks available if necessary.
- We will observe social distancing of at least 3 feet between children while seated for the worship portion of Tiny Disciples.
- We will complete extra cleaning after each gathering.
- We are creating procedures to ensure all adults interacting with children are vaccinated.
- Windows will be open for the entirety of the Tiny Disciples program to increase air flow in the space.
Kids' Church (grades K-5)
When you arrive at New Roads for Mass, a parent will be asked to fill out a contact sheet which also lists the following safety procedures:
- Upon entering and exiting the room, kids will receive hand sanitizer to clean their hands.
- All children and adults will remain wearing their masks (unless the adult is speaking to the large group on stage from a safe distance - like you witness during the Mass).
- Children will be spread out utilizing all of our available spacing for each activity (social distancing of at least 3 feet).
- We will complete extra cleaning after each gathering.
- If we become aware of a positive case of COVID-19 and people were exposed during our gathering, we will use your email to contact your family to allow contact tracing while protecting everyone’s privacy.
- We are creating procedures to ensure all adults interacting with children are vaccinated.
