Summer 2023 at New Roads
At New Roads we intentionally slow down our pace over the summer months to give our staff and volunteer ministers some much needed time for rest and renewal. We hope you make time for rest and renewal this summer too. We also encourage you to make worship a priority this summer–no matter where you are! Worship and rest go hand in hand. We were made to rest in God and worship is meant to refuel and restore our souls. Let’s keep leaning into God and faith this summer!
Here’s what’s going on at New Roads this summer:
MASS SCHEDULE: We have a slightly different Mass schedule. The 9:00am Sunday Mass at St. Joseph will be on pause during the summer, but the rest of our weekend Mass schedule will be as normal:
St. Joseph: 10:30am Sundays (in the South Worship Space, air conditioned, and live streamed)
St. Luke: 4:00pm Saturdays; 10:00am Sundays (and live streamed)
KIDS PROGRAMS: Tiny Disciples and Kids' Church are on a break for the summer, starting this Sunday, June 25th. Thank you to our amazing children’s ministry team who supports children, families, and our entire community through their service!
NEW ROADS CAFE: Construction on our café space at St. Joseph will be ongoing during the summer. If you have not yet made your gift to support the café project (which will be matched through June 30th!), there is still time to make a gift!
MESSAGE SERIES: We’ll pause our regular message series during the summer and focus on some rich gospel stories which guide us toward becoming more rooted in faith.
ZOOM PRAYER: Our Zoom prayer calls will take a pause during the summer months. Next week (June 26th) will be the final week before our summer pause.
