There is a lot going on at New Roads this fall for every age and every stage of life and faith! Find the details below and feel free to contact us with any questions.
NEW MESSAGE SERIES: “ENOUGH”
We all struggle, at least from time to time, with having enough or being enough. We wonder if we’ve done enough at work; if we’ve invested enough in our kids; if we’ll have enough money for retirement and our futures. Is there a way to be content and satisfied? Is there a way to know we have done enough so we can rest? In this message series we’ll look at knowing when enough is enough. Join us for this series running September 8th through October 13th at the 9:00am & 10:30am Sunday Masses at St. Joseph–and invite a friend to join you!
KIDS PROGRAMS (Ages 2-5, Grades K-5)
Our kids worship experiences, Tiny Disciples (ages 2-5) & Kids’ Church (grades K-5), are up and running every Sunday at the 9:00am & 10:30am Masses. No sign up is necessary but we’d love to keep in touch with your family. Join our Kids’ Church Email List by using the form here.
SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION (Grade 2 and above)
Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation and Eucharist (“First Communion”) is for families with children who are at least seven years old as of September. Our program is organized through monthly workshops in which both the child and at least one parent participates. Registration is open now and the first workshop begins September 28, 2024. For more information and to register, visit our website or contact Maria, [email protected].
MIDDLE SCHOOL FAMILIES (Grades 6, 7, 8)
Do you have a child in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade this year? Join us for a meeting to explore what is possible for middle school ministry at New Roads in the coming year. We’d love to partner with parents to support students in this age group as they discover and grow in their relationship with God. Fill out the brief form here to let us know your email and when you can meet.
CONFIRMATION (Grades 9, 10, and above)
We’d love to welcome you and your family to our confirmation program at New Roads. Currently confirmation preparation is open to everyone in grades 9 and above. It is a one-year process that begins in November 2024 and ends in October 2025. Please visit our website or email Veronica, [email protected], for more information.
